HM Revenue & Customs are offering all self employed workers within the plumbing trade the opportunity to come clean about undeclared income and to bring your tax affairs up to date without the worry if being hit with large penalties.
Known as the Plumbers Tax Safe Plan (PTSP) it is designed for self employed workers who have either not registered as self employed or have not declared all there income.
If you are in this position and would like to come clean with HM Revenue & Customs, then now is the time to act, as this scheme is only available until 31 May 2011.
It covers the plumbing, heating or gas installation trades and this includes anyone who installs and repairs pipes and fixtures for water, drainage or gas systems in a building.
